Breaded Caprese Ravioli with Muffuletta Style Olive Salad

It is believed that the muffuletta sandwich originated in the French quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana. According to the story Sicilian Immigrant farmers working the local market would come into the central grocery for lunch and order some various meats and cheeses along with olive salad and a side of bread. Eventually the owner of the local shop decided to combine these ingredients on Sicilian muffuletta bread to better serve his guest after which customers began simply requesting 'muffulettas' which still today is a well-recognized sandwich style across the US.
