Sliders are an American inspiration. What began as a small burger on a 2 inch "slider" bun, has developed into a huge variety of small hand held snacks with fillings ranging from quinoa to salmon and buns that are also varied (pretzel dough, brioche, pita). In our dish, the meat filled ravioli serves as the bun, and the fried onion is the sandwich filling. We thought, why not?!
